About You

I work with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing difficulties around life transitions, identity formation, cultural identity, family dynamics, relationships, anxiety, and those needing general support in navigating life events. I also love working with couples seeking premarital counseling. I strive to help my clients gain clarity and understanding, feel empowered, and develop a greater sense of connection as well as agency.

About Me

I received my Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Western Washington University and my Master of Science (M.S.) from Seattle Pacific University. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and am certified in Prepare and Enrich as well as Level 1 Gottman Couples Therapy Method.

I am truly passionate about supporting my clients through life’s unpredictable ups and downs. It’s my privilege to witness and experience the immense strength and vulnerability within my clients. Life is tough, and so are you! I will meet you where you are and together, we can navigate whatever may unfold. 

When I’m not in my virtual office, I enjoy baking, taking my dog on walks, and spending time with family and friends.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is holistic, as I believe it’s important to consider all aspects of self, including biological, emotional, social, and spiritual. As relational beings, we are influenced by our family, friends, cultures, and society. I believe all these factors shape who we are and how we exist in relationship today.

I also view therapy as very collaborative and conversational. l emphasize my client’s strengths and their inherent potential for growth, healing, and change, if given a supportive, safe, loving, and enriching environment. I bring a nurturing and reflective feel as we work together to help you live a more engaged, connected, and fulfilled life.

I incorporate cultural sensitivity and a trauma-informed approach. I often use an attachment lens to facilitate healing. I also borrow concepts from Solution Focused therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. I work with my clients to find which treatment approach works best for them and their needs.

Although the therapy process can be challenging and uncomfortable at times, my goal is to make my clients comfortable, while also encouraging growth. Therapy is also not all dark and heavy - I believe it’s important to celebrate small victories and accomplishments along the way!
